Juneteenth: A Celebration of Freedom

Juneteenth: A Celebration of Freedom

The oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. It is on June 19, 1865 that Union Soldiers landed in Galveston, Texas to announce that the Civil War had ended and the enslaved were now free. Kimbrough Law recognizes this national holiday and our office will be closed to honor and celebrate this day. Happy Juneteenth!
